Records fall at Split Airport this weekend as the tourist season heats up…

This weekend 150 flights landed at Split Airport on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast carrying around 38,000 passengers in both directions, which was 10% more than the last weekend in June 2015.

“The traffic through Split Airport during June has been about 15% more than it has was for the same period last year. In the first 5 and a half months this year 503,000 passengers have passed through the airport, which is 10.2% more than in the first 5 and a half months in 2015,” Mate Melvan told Hina.

Also Split Airport set a record in the month of May as it was the first time in the airport’s history that more than 200,000 passengers passed through.
