ZAGREB, May 6 (Hina) – The screening of famous Italian director Federico Fellini’s film “I Vitelloni” on 9 May will usher in a drive-in cinema in the “Beretich” car park in the Croatian seaport of Rijeka.
The drive-in cinema has been organised by the local Art-kino company and the Filmaktiv association, who stated on Wednesday that the national COVID-19 crisis management had given the green-light for the project owing to the current favourable epidemiological situation after the coronavirus epidemic was subdued and the protective measures that had been defined for visitors of the drive-in cinema.
During May, the drive-in cinema will also screen “Breathless” by Jean-Luc Godard on 16 May, and The Wild Bunch by Sam Peckinpah on 23 May.
Spectators are expected to stay in their vehicles, and only the front left window of the car may be opened.
Due to the limited space, the mandatory reservation can be made by e-mail [email protected] or by calling 051 / 323-261 on working days from 10 am to 2 pm.
