Rimac to showcase the C_Two in New York next week

14 April 2019 – Croatia’s Rimac will showcase their C_Two electric hypercar and the technology under its skin in New York next week. 

Rimac will be showing their C_Two spec at the New York International Auto Show which will be held in Manhattan at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

The show has been held annually since 1900 and was the first automotive exhibition in North America.

Visitors have the chance to see the new Croatian hypercar, which Top Gear labeled the most powerful sports car in the world during the show which will take place from 19-29 April 2019. They will be showcasing the car with their retail partners Manhattan Motorcars.  

In 2018, the company launched the Rimac C_Two, which is the world’s most powerful electric hypercar. Powered by a four-motor powertrain system with 1.914 hopsepower and instantly available 2300 Nm of torque, the C_Two accelerates 0-60 mph in 1.85 seconds, and reaches 300 kph in 11.8 seconds. 

The car, finished in Galactic White with deep blue tinted carbon-fibre elements, was showcased last month in Geneva.

The interior is handcrafted in-house, with matte carbon fibre complimenting petroleum blue leather and contrast stitching. This specification speaks for the elegant, yet electrifying profile of the C_Two.

What is under the skin of the car is equally impressive. 

“Designed and engineered from scratch by Rimac’s in-house team, the C_Two’s full carbon fibre monocoque is the biggest single carbon-piece in the industry – with the full battery and powertrain integrated within the moncoque. Together with the roof, it weights under 200 kg,” the company said.  

Rimac also supplies their battery and drivetrain systems, hardware, and software to many partners in the automotive industry, powering the most extreme performing EV and HEV hypercars on the market. The goal is to ever deliver innovative technology to the high-performance market, starting with the crown jewel – the Rimac C_Two.
