Former Croatian international-turned manager Robert Jarni has been sacked by his Bosnian club FK Sarajevo…
Jarni, who was one of the stars of Croatia’s successful World Cup ’98 campaign in France, has been axed by the club’s owner, Malaysian multimillionaire Vincent Tan, after just four months in charge. Jarni’s last four matches in charge failed to produce one goal, and he will leave the club after only securing two wins out of 9 matches. FK Sarajevo are only four points off the top of the table with five matches in the season remaining, but Tan, who also owns Cardiff City, has lost patience with the former left-back.
