Roland Garros: Defeat for Ivo Karlović

PARIS, 23 September 2020 – Croatian tennis player Ivo Karlović has failed to qualify for the 2020 French Open.
The 41-year-old was beaten in the second round of qualifying by 24-year-old Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi 6-3, 7-6 after one hour and twenty minutes on court.
The 2020 French Open will take place at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris from 27 September to 11 October. It was originally to be scheduled from 24 May to 7 June, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was then first moved to 20 September to 4 October, was later moved back a week further.
It will be the 124th edition of the French Open and the last Grand Slam event of 2020. The main singles draws will include Croatian players Marin Čilić, Borna Ćorić, Petra Martić and Donna Vekić.
