Rovinj named Croatian Tourist Destination of the Year

OSIJEK, 5 October 2019 – Rovinj has been named the best tourist destination of the year at the big awards ceremony held on the final night of Croatian Tourism Days in Osijek last night. 

The Croatian Tourism Days has been taking place in five Slavonian counties this week and was capped off last night with the top 10 ‘best of’ awards. This was the first time the annual conference of tourism professionals was held in Slavonia. 

This was the 23rd time that the best of Croatian tourism awards, which was attended last night by the nation’s president and prime minister, were held.

Best Tourist Event – Renesansni Festival 

Best Camp – Aminess Maravea Camping Resort, Novigrad 

Best Agency – Katarina Line, Opatija

Best Hotel – Valamar Collection Girandella Resort, Rabac

Special awards – Riva Tours, Ivan Sabljić, Vinko Prizmić, Frane Skoblar
