Rugby Club Zagreb Hosting Open Day

In an attempt to get more players involved in the game and introduce rugby to a new audience, Rugby Club Zagreb, who have recently taken on New Zealand rugby coaches David Casey and Ian Snooks, will be hosting an Open Day this weekend in the capital.
On Sunday 25 September 2016 from 11am to 1pm Rugby Club Zagreb will be hosting its 2nd Open Day at at Rudeš (Sošićka bb) in Zagreb.
“Small or large, everyone is welcome to go along and join in, or just look and get a taste of the unique features rugby has to offer. Rugby truly is a sport for all; any gender, tall, short, fast, slow, stout, slight, rugby has a position which needs you”, the club says.
“Rugby is more than just a sport, at its heart are a set of core values which equip its players and supporters with the same core values to use in their everyday lives. True friendship, teamwork, respect, tolerance, equality, perseverance and ambition.”

11:00 – Gathering
11.15 – Opening presentation
11.20 – Rugby activities
Your chance to try out some new skills at various stations
12.15 – Round up
12.20 – Closing presentation
12.40 – Refreshments
Who can join in?
Everyone. Rugby is a successful sport worldwide for both boys and girls, many go on to play for their whole life. If you have a little curiosity, like sport and want to mix with people who believe sport should be fun, then rugby is for you.
What do you need?
A t-shirt, shorts or a tracksuit, a pair of trainers and a bit of enthusiasm are all you need. The young players from rugby club Zagreb will be there to help you learn some new skills have fun and welcome you into the global family that is rugby.
