Russians Reveal Croatian Investment Interests

It looks like Croatia is on the radar of Russian energy giants Gazprom. A Croatia-Russian working group has been formed and have been with charged with discussing three potential areas of investment in Croatia by Russian energy company Gazprom.
Besides already expressing a desire to become a major gas supplier in Croatia, the Russian giants are also interested in investing in gas-fired plants, and developing a network of natural gas filling stations for motor vehicles, reports Tportal.
Gazprom’s CEO has confirmed the company’s interest in Croatia, stating that Croatia’s upcoming entry into the EU is attractive and provides good business opportunities.
