ZADAR, 1 July 2021 – Ryanair is celebrating the reopening of its base in Zadar today.
With two base aircraft, 78 weekly flights to 37 destinations, of which as many as 17 are new, the reopening of the base will from today connect Zadar with numerous international destinations across Europe. While vaccination programs continue throughout Europe, and as the peak of the summer season approaches, this will boost air traffic and tourism in Zadar County, the airline said in a statement.
Speaking at the opening of the base, Ryanair’s director of Marketing and Informatics, Dara Brady said:
“We are delighted to be in Croatia at the reopening of the base in Zadar. Air traffic is ready for a new rise at the peak of the tourist season in July and August, and with 17 new and a total of 37 lines, our Croatian customers have more than a good choice of destinations for their much-desired summer vacation.
Bearing in mind that COVID restrictions are constantly changing, our customers can book their tickets now, and in case of delayed travel, they can exchange them for any other flight twice without any additional charge until the end of this year.”
In order to celebrate the official opening of the base in Zadar and 17 new summer routes, Ryanair announced tickets available from 151 kuna for travel until the end of October 2021, which must be booked by Saturday, July 3 at midnight.
“As tickets at such incredibly low prices will be snatched very quickly, visit us as soon as possible on our website www.ryanair.com and buy your ticket,” the airline said.
The director of Zadar Airport, Josip Klišmanić, also addressed those in attendance today:
!We are extremely pleased with the fact that the largest European airline has continued its long-standing successful cooperation with us and reopened its base in Zadar, thus further connecting our city and Croatia with as many as 37 destinations. Ryanair has been and remains the main partner of Zadar Airport for the last 14 years. The return of the base with 37 lines, of which as many as 17 are new, in the season and challenging weather in which we have to fight for every passenger, is not only good news, but also a confirmation of our excellent cooperation that we hope in the future.”
