9 April 2019 – The Croatian family who opens up their home every Christmas for what is one of the country’s biggest and brightest Christmas lights displays will open its popular Easter attraction this week.
SalajLand Easter Story will be open at their Grabovnica property near the central Croatian town of Čazma on 12 April 2019. It will be open everyday until 22 April from 3 pm – 10 pm.
“This year you can expect more than 40,000 lighting decorative eggs, representation of the Jesus tomb, a large train installation of straw, an extended promenade with a variety of 3D lightning elements and straw elements suitable for Easter – figures of chickens, rabbits, roosters, Easter eggs, baskets and similar,” the family said.
There is also plenty of additional content for children with Love Carpe Diem’s rich animation programme, mini games, creative workshops, egg searches, facepainting and various children’s show programmes.
Visitors can also try and buy various food products at stalls as well as handicrafts, souvenirs and gifts from local OPGs and craftsmen.
Ticket prices are the same as last year – 20 HRK per person individually and 15 HRK per person for organised visits (groups of 30 and more people). Entry for the children up to 7 years is free (except in organised groups). Also people with disabilities are free.
