Scholarship for Croatian language & culture course in Zagreb

The University School of Croatian Language and Culture is designed for young people of Croatian origin and active members of the Croatian diaspora community who wish to familiarise themselves with Croatia, gain or expand their knowledge about it, learn or improve the Croatian language, and for returnees from Croatian diaspora.

The University School encompasses academic courses of Croatian language organised by the University of Zagreb and cultural programs organised by the Croatian Heritage Foundation.

The University School will take place in Zagreb from June 24th to July 19th, 2024.

One selected scholarship recipient by the Central State Office for Croats Abroad will have the tuition fees for academic courses of Croatian language covered, as well as the costs of cultural programs and accommodation in a student dormitory. 

The selected scholarship recipient is personally responsible for covering travel and meal expenses and must possess travel and health insurance as well as accident insurance during attendance.

Application form

Copy of ID card or passport or biometric residence permit

This call is open to members of the Croatian diaspora who nurture Croatian identity and promote Croatian cultural unity, aged 18 or above, with at least completed secondary education, residing outside Croatia or with residency/domicile in Croatia not exceeding three years until the publication date of this call.
