Small Plane Crashes in Pula, Killing Two

A single-engine two-seater Zlin Z 42 has crashed into the sea near Pula in Croatia on Sunday afternoon, killing both passengers. The plane crashed at 15:20 on Sunday, just a few hundred metres from ACI Marina in Pomer, smashing on impact as it hit the sea and immediately sinking. People on boats in the sea near the crash tried in vain to rescue the planes occupants. It was reported that an instructor from the Zagreb flight school and a student were the victims.
