Hotel Sol Umag has met high implementation demands and were awarded the Halal Certificate of Quality, which ensures guests the services of accommodation and food and drink provisions according to strict Halal standards, by the Centre for Halal certification in Zagreb.
“We are happy that Sol Umag has become the first Istrian hotel to introduce Halal standards. I hope that guests who are looking for halal quality, recognise our efforts to give them the service that fully meets their habits,” said the hotel.
Halal certified hotels must provide rooms for rituals established by Islamic rules, the mini-bar be empty of all alcoholic beverages, whilst food must be prepared according to Halal standards. 13% of total global tourism comes from Halal tourism, with the sector being financially very strong.
