The son of former NBA legend John Stockton is to continue his career in Croatia, Eurobasket Data Centre reports…
25-year old David Stockton has signed a deal with Zagreb-based club KK Cedevita. Stockton was most recently playing at Reno Bighorns (D-League) in the U.S. The 180-cm point guard averaged 18 points per game in the 49 games he played helping them win the West Division title. He also was called by the Sacramento Kings to trial during the season.
David’s father John was regarded as one of the best point guards of all time in the NBA. He played his entire career at the Utah Jazz and held the NBA records for most career assists and steals by a long distance. He is a ten-time NBA All-Star, and a two-time Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee. Stockton was also a member of the 1992 United States men’s Olympic basketball ‘Dream Team’. Stockton married Nada Stepovich, who has Montenegrin ancestry.
KK Cedevita plays in the Croatian League, in the Adriatic League and in the Euroleague.
