Special limited edition beer released to celebrate Dinamo Zagreb’s spring Europe return

11 February 2019 – Croatian football champions Dinamo Zagreb advanced to the playoff stage of a European competition for the first time since 1970 and to celebrate an initiative was set up to bring back the club’s identity.
The ‘Dinamo Spring’ project was set up by the association ‘Dinamo to smo mi (Dinamo that is us) with the aim of bringing back the club’s identity and local support. As part of the initiative a special edition beer has been released.
Croatia’s first microbrewery Pivnica Medvedgrad have teamed up with Dinamo to smo mi and produced a special limited edition lager called ‘Golden Bear’.
The golden-yellow brew comes in a bottle with the label featuring the brewery’s famous beer wearing a Dinamo scarf. The beer was popular at the recent ‘Dinamo’s Spring’ exhibition which took place at the Kranjčar Gallery at Kaptol in Zagreb on Friday.
The beer will be available while stocks last at all Medvedgrad pivnicas as well as at partner cafes.
The exhibition at Kranjčar Gallery at Kaptol 26 is open until 19 February 2019 and admission is free. Tickets are also on sale at the exhibition for the big concert ‘Dinamo’s Spring’ which takes place at Dom sportova on 23 February 2019 and features Jura Stublić & Film, Kawasaki 3P, Tram 11 and Šank.
