Split Airport make COVID-19 testing available

SPLIT, 27 April 2021 – As of yesterday, COVID-19 testing is possible at Split Airport on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast.
On Monday, the Public Health Institute of the Split-Dalmatia County enables all passengers to be tested for SARS-CoV-2 near the passenger terminal of Split Airport.
Right next to the state road D409, in the immediate vicinity of the passenger terminal of Split Airport, from yesterday it is possible to perform testing for SARS-CoV-2. Access to the location is possible on foot and by car.
Testing for SARS-CoV-2 is possible using two methods, depending on the needs of passengers or depending on the type of test required to travel to a particular country.
The result of a quick test for SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen is ready within 30 minutes. The result in Croatian costs HRK 200.00, while the result in English is HRK 250.00, Croatian Aviation reported.
The PCR test result is ready within 24 hours and costs HRK 400.00, while the result in English is HRK 450.00. Results for tests taken on Sunday will be delivered to the passenger within 36 hours.
Passengers should bring an identity document with them. Passengers are obliged to check the conditions and restrictions of travel to the country to which they travel, and the type of test they need.
Payment is possible by cash, debit or credit card. Pre-registration by phone or e-mail is not required.
