Split Port Welcomes its Largest Ever Ship

The largest ever ship to sail into the Croatian port of Split has arrived on Monday morning. The 294 metre-long M/S Queen Elizabeth, which can carry over 2,000 passengers, has docked into Split from Venice this morning. After spending the day in the central Dalmatian city, the ship will make its way slowly down the coast to Dubrovnik.
MS Queen Elizabeth is a Signature class cruise ship operated by the Cunard Line. She is the second largest ship to be constructed for Cunard, exceeded only by the Queen Mary 2 and is is running mate to the Queen Victoria and the Queen Mary 2. The ship has consistently received a rating of 90% on the customer satisfaction questionnaire and ranks third behind fleetmate MS Queen Victoria and the Celebrity Eclipse in the top 10 cruise ships.
