Are you a Croatian youth residing in Australia between the ages of 15 and 21? Do you aspire to excel in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine? If so, the STEMM competition is your gateway to unlocking a world of opportunities and connections that can propel you towards a successful future.
Origanised by the Croatian Central State Office for Croats Abroad, in collaboration with the Victorian Croatian Chamber of Commerce (VCCC), the STEMM competition is designed specifically for Australian Croatian youth, aimed at fostering their interest and potential in STEMM disciplines. By signing up before May 23, young individuals can embark on an exciting journey of growth, learning, and valuable experiences that will set them apart from their peers.
One of the key features of the STEMM competition is the opportunity to build networks with prominent Croatian academics, professors, and businesses, including distinguished professors Frances Separovic, Ivan Marusic, and Redmond Barry. By connecting with these accomplished professionals, participants gain insights into cutting-edge research, industry trends, and potential career pathways.
The STEMM competition fosters connections among like-minded Croatian youth across Australia. By engaging with peers who share similar aspirations and interests, participants can establish a strong support system and a network of future collaborators. The program facilitates interaction through various activities, workshops, and events, creating a vibrant community that encourages growth, innovation, and mutual empowerment.
As an added incentive, the STEMM Initiative offers participants the chance to win prize money, a Consulate award, and a guided tour of the prestigious Australian Synchrotron.
These rewards not only recognise outstanding achievements but also serve as motivation for participants to strive for excellence. The Australian Synchrotron tour is a unique opportunity to witness cutting-edge technology in action, further igniting participants’ passion for STEMM and inspiring their future endeavours.
To participate in the STEMM Initiative, interested individuals must sign up before May 23 by visiting the website https://www.vcccprojects.com/ and completing the form.
