Stipe Miocic stands as one of the greatest heavyweights in the history of the UFC.
Miocic was scheduled to headline UFC 295 at Madison Square Garden last weekend but his title fight with Jon Jones was cancelled after Jones got injured a week out from the fight.
While awaiting his next fight, Miocic has decided to further adorn his body with a Croatia-inspired tattoo, showcasing his pride in his heritage.
Born and raised in America, Miocic’s connection to Croatia runs deep through his family. His mother hails from Cetingrad, and his late father had roots in Rtina near Zadar.
Although Miocic himself was not born in Croatia and has only visited a few times, he has always taken pride in his Croatian heritage.
Miocic, who already has got a tattoo of the Croatian coat of arms on his foot, has now gone a step further, hinting to his fans on Instagram that another tattoo dedicated to Croatia is in the works.
This time, it will grace his shoulder, and also features the Croatian coat of arms.
The exact details of this new tattoo remain a mystery, but Miocic’s fans eagerly await the reveal, anticipating another piece of body art that reflects his deep connection to Croatia.
