Summer festival of Istrian pršut in Tinjan
The 2nd Summer Festival of Istrian Pršut will take place in the town of Tinjan from 16-17 July 2022.
Ten top Istrian prosciutto producers will showcase their best pršuts this weekend in Tinjan. There will also be top Istiran wines on offer as well as plenty of entertainment and music.
This year’s Summer Festival of Istrian Pršut also has educational events in its program, that is, a series of lectures taking place in the House of Istrian Pršut.
This Saturday and Sunday, Tinjan will be the place to be where all lovers of excellent eno-gastro combinations will find out first-hand why Istrian pršut has been a great pride of Istrians since ancient times, representing not only a food product, but also the wealth of tradition.

17.00h – Presentation of the monograph on Istrian pršut – Davor Šišović (House of Istrian pršut)
17.00h – 24.00h Opening of Summer Festival of Istrian pršut (next to the Municipality building)
18.00h – Official opening of the Summer festival of Istrian pršut with a special program
19.00h – Performance of the association Kumpanija Kosirići Tinjan – folklore and majorettes
19.00h – 19.45h Guided pršut and wine tastings – House of Istrian Prosciutto (register on email: [email protected] or on the day – price 180 kn per person)
