Croatian citizens will soon be able to freely work in Switzerland, according to reports coming out of Zürich today…
Switzerland have signed an accord on Friday with the EU extending the free movement of workers to Croatia, reports Swiss Info.
The agreement had been put on since 2014 when Swiss voters’ approved limiting immigration from the European Union, but on the Swiss Foreign Ministry said both parties signed the agreement in Brussels on Friday.
“The deal, which is subject to approval by parliament, is expected to lead to the full readmission of Switzerland to the Horizon 2020 research programme of the EU.The European Commission in February 2014 froze Switzerland’s participation in the Horizon 2020 and the Erasmus+ programmes,” swissinfo writes.
After parliament discussions starting in April, it is expected that the accord will come into effect early next year.
