Teen Killed By Lightning Strike In Croatia

A 16-year-old boy has died in Bjelovar in eastern Croatia after being struck by lighting in the head on Saturday whilst playing football. The boy was rushed to Bjelovar hospital on Saturday after being struck by lightning at around 5pm whilst playing in a friendly match between NK Trnskog and BSK Brezovac. 10 players were knocked to the ground after the strike. One other player was in a serious but stable condition in a Brezovac hospital.
