Teen Martin Kosovec mesmerises Croatia and wins The Voice

Teenager Martin Kosovec has captivated the entire Croatian nation and emerged victorious last night in The Voice Croatia.

“I hope for his album soon so I can listen to him again. Martin is a remarkable young man.” These are just a few of the comments flooding in following the triumph of the 18-year-old in the show “The Voice Croatia.”

From his audition, where he sang Frank Sinatra’s “My Way,” both the judges and viewers recognised Martin Kosovec’s special musical talent and energy, daily Večernji list wrote. 

Last night, he clinched victory in the fourth season of the HRT show. His renditions of “Moja zemlja” by Vice Vukov, “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers, and “Sjaj u tami” by Dorian Gray found their way into the hearts of the audience.

In the final, Martin received 88,504 votes from viewers. This time, the audience seems unanimous, judging by comments on social media and the results of Večernji list’s poll, with over eight thousand readers stating that Martin deservedly won “The Voice Croatia”.

“Bravo Martin, best of luck, and always stay true to yourself. You were all excellent, what a great finale!” These accolades poured in from viewers, reflecting the overwhelming support for Martin’s victory. Many expressed pride in having him represent Croatia, feeling a personal connection to his journey on television.

Martin’s journey from the auditions to the finale showcased his charisma, vocal prowess, and uniqueness. Viewers and mentors alike were drawn to his performances, propelling him towards victory.

The 18-year-old from Zagreb had the opportunity to work with two mentor teams. From his rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way,” which led him to be selected by Dino, to his final performance of “Sjaj u tami” by Dorian Gray, Martin’s journey was marked by outstanding talent and determination.

Under Vanna’s mentorship, Martin delivered sensational performances, becoming a fan favourite with songs like “Tvoja zemlja” by Vice Vukov and “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers. 

His triumph in the final episode last night, with the classic “Sjaj u travi” by Dorian Gray, marked the culmination of his impressive journey.
