The new 2024 Michelin Guide for Croatia was released on Wednesday, and now, for the first time, Croatia boasts one restaurant with two Michelin.

The restaurant Agli Amici in Rovinj now has two stars, while Dubravkin put in Zagreb has received its first star.

Nine restaurants in Croatia also retained their stars.

In addition to the 11 Michelin-starred restaurants, Croatia now has 71 restaurants recommended by Michelin, with some changes to the list.

Six new restaurants have been added: Wine Vault Restaurant – Levante Edition in Rovinj, Spinnaker in Poreč, Torero in Zagreb, Zinfandel Food & Wine Bar in Split, Restaurant Mare in Trogir, and Konoba Zijavica in Mošćenička Draga.

A recommended restaurant is a sign of a chef using quality ingredients that are well-prepared, simply a sign of a good meal. It means the inspectors have determined the food is above average but not quite at star level.
