If the 2Cellos ever want to expand to the 3Cellos then they won’t have to look to far for the third member…
Eva Šulić, younger sister of 2Cellos member Luka Šulić, is following in her brothers footsteps. Eva, who is now 18, has been playing violin since she was just 4 years old. She studied at the Johann-Joseph-Fux Conservatory in Graz from 2006 to 2010, and from 2011 at the Music Academy in Vienna.
Eva has already performed in Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Lithuania and Liechtenstein, as a soloist with the Symphonic Orchestra of the Conservatory of Maribor, and Graz Symphony Orchestra. Eva has won many prizes in national and international competitions.
Luka, who played at the Ballon d’Or award night in Zurich on Monday, had just stepped off the plane to make his way to watch his sister perform with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra last night.
“So proud of my little sister Eva…For her wonderful performance of Khachaturian Violin Concerto with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra last night!,” a proud Šulić wrote on social media to his fans.
