Third Season of Crossing Lines to be Filmed in Croatia Next Week

Parts of the third season of well-known television series Crossing Lines will be filmed in the Croatia from 22 – 25 April…
Crossing Lines, which premiered in the United States on NBC in 2013, is an action crime drama which stars Donald Sutherland, Richard Flood and former Croatian E.R actor Goran Višnjić. The German, American and French co production will film next week in Opatija, Rijeka and Rovinj.
“Film tourism is extremely interesting for Opatija as a new product outside of the main tourist season, and also because of the image the destination gets through this type of global promotion,” said Opatija Tourist Board director Suzi Petričić.
According to estimations, around 5% of tourists from EU member stats will choose a destination to visit because their favourite film or series is filmed there.
