ZAGREB, 4 April 2025 – All tickets for Marko Perković Thompson’s concert at Zagreb’s Hipodrom have officially sold out.

On 5th July 2025, more than half a million people will gather for what is set to be the biggest concert in history.

This record-breaking event surpasses the previous world record held by Italian rock star Vasco Rossi, who drew 225,173 fans to his concert in Modena in 2017.

With over 500,000 tickets sold, Thompson’s performance in Zagreb will be the most attended ticketed concert of all time.

The demand for tickets was unprecedented. The first batch of 281,774 tickets sold out on 28th March, making it the largest concert in terms of ticket sales worldwide. When the second batch was released on 2nd April, more than 150,000 tickets were snapped up in just six hours.

By the end of the day, the concert was officially sold out.

Ticket prices were set at €30 for general admission and €50 for the fan pit.

Zagreb Accommodation Almost Fully Booked

With fans travelling from all over Croatia and beyond, Zagreb’s hotels and private accommodations are nearing full capacity.

Of the approximately 70 hotels in the city, only a few still have rooms available. As of this week, only 12 hotels have vacancies on Booking.com for the weekend of 5th-6th July, with just 40 private properties still available to rent.

“We are proud to be part of this incredible project,” announced Entrio, the ticketing service behind the event.

Regarding record Croatian concert attendance, the biggest gathering occurred during The Rolling Stones’ “Bridges to Babylon” tour in 1998, pulling in more than 80,000 attendees at Zagreb Hipodrom.

This event marked the first significant concert in Croatia as an independent nation, happening soon after the peaceful restoration of Eastern Slavonia.

In 2024, Ed Sheeran’s performance brought in 70,000 spectators.
