Tomislava Dukić crowned new Miss World Croatia

ZAGREB, 27 November 2023 – 25-year-old Tomislava Dukić has been crowned Miss World Croatia tonight in Zagreb.
The grand celebration marked the 30th anniversary of the oldest beauty pageant in Croatia, and the newly crowned beauty was chosen from twelve finalists.
Tomislava will proudly wear the crown from the Prahir jewelry store, along with the sash and the title of Miss World Croatia 2023 for the next year.
Lana Valentić was named the second runner-up and Antea Krnić as the first runner-up.
The winner originally hails from Tomislavgrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina and has a passion for travelling. She graduated from the Faculty of Kinesiology in Split and is highly disciplined, dedicated to sports activities, and committed to a healthy lifestyle.
She hopes that this title will enable her to meet new people who may help her in realising her future plans and projects.
After several days of preparation at Camping Resort Plitvice, Jurjevec Castle in Lekenik, and Antunović Hotel in Zagreb, twelve girls competed in five categories: interview, sport, talent, top model, and multimedia.
The Top 8 finalists, Luna Marija Novak, Tia Stilinović, Lana Valentić, Tomislava Dukić, and Patricija Dimitrovski secured their spots through victories in individual categories. Leona Maroši, Tara Begedin, and Antea Krnić entered the final of the Miss Croatia 2023 competition by the decision of the expert judging panel.
The girls dazzled on the glamorous stage, wearing elegant white dresses, tiaras, and sashes representing their regions. On the fashion runway, they showcased collections from Calico Mood, Hogl, Tvornica napčala, and Nikolina Bridal, enhanced by the stylists from Studio Marcela, Profokus School, and Les Diables.
The Top 8 finalists answered questions from the expert judging panel, tasked with selecting the most well-rounded contestant who will have the honour of representing Croatia at the 72nd Miss World.
The program, featuring performances by Amir Kazić Leo, Sandi Cenov, Hana Mašić, Angelica Zacchigna, and Circus Animators, was hosted by Ivana Šundov and Davor Garić.

The grand thirtieth-anniversary celebration was enhanced by the presence of former Miss Croatia titleholders, including Ivana Petković Čevra, Nina Slamić Gudeljević, Maja Cvjetković Čevra, Josipa Kusić, Antonija Gogić Bračulj, Angelic Zacchigna, Katarina Mamić, and Lucija Begić, the representative of Croatia at the 71st Miss World in India next spring.
