Top 10 Companies in Croatia Revealed

The Top 10 companies in Croatia based on revenue generated have been revealed with oil giants INA again topping the list.
INA, who has been the number one firm based on revenue in Croatia for the last 10 years in a row, generated 15.1 billion kunas in revenue last year, putting it at the top of the list. INA’s biggest year was recorded in 2011 when it generated 28.1 billion kunas.
Second on the list, which was compiled from data from financial institute FINA, was national electricity company Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP) with 8.9 billion kunas in revenue.
Next on the list were distribution services operator HEP, telecom firm Hrvatski Telecom, pharmaceutical company Pliva and oil company Petrol.
Supermarket chains Lidl, with revenues of 4 billion kunas last year were in 7th spot, up from 12th position the year prior.
Fellow supermarket chains Plodine and Kaufland were next on the list with revenues just under 4 billion kunas.
City enterprise Zagrebački holding, which operates a number of different businesses in the capital including trams, parking, markets and waste collection, rounded out the Top 10 with around 3.4 billion kunas generated last year.
