Trogir: A unique wedding destination

Trogir, a pearl under UNESCO protection, a city of masters who with its rich cultural heritage, natural beauty and unique position has all the prerequisites for an ideal destination for every demanding visitor and travel writer.
Precisely because of its uniqueness, which is primarily distinguished by the rich cultural heritage and specificity of the city, Trogir is positioned on the map of Croatian and European cities as one of the most desirable destinations for weddings.
Numerous magical locations in Trogir such as the Rector’s Palace, the Kamerlengo Tower, the Town Lodge, and the Cathedral of St. Lawrence provide a unique and unforgettable ambience for organising weddings.
In order to promote and strengthen the recognisability of Trogir as a wedding destination, the Tourist Board of the City of Trogir as a sponsor participates in the 8th International Wedding Fair “Wedding Day” held on January 29 and 30 at the Spaladium Arena in Split and is involved in the project “WEDDING IN CENTRAL DALMATIA, which was established in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics in Split and the Tourist Board of Split-Dalmatia County and from year to year brings together an increasing number of local tourist boards and businesses, all with the aim of promoting tourist sites and destinations in the Split-Dalmatia County.
Building and encouraging the development of selective forms of the tourist offer is one of the fundamental and strategic goals of sustainable development of the tourist offer of the city. Through daily activities, the Tourist Board is working to improve all forms of selective tourism in the city of Trogir, including cycle tourism, sports tourism, nautical tourism, cultural tourism, and great potential for Trogir in the coming period in the segment of film tourism, digital nomad tourism and congress tourism.
Recognising the general preconditions that Trogir has in mind the development of selective forms of tourism, the promotion of Trogir as a unique and desirable wedding destination in addition to attracting visitors related to this topic, contributes to the overall recognition and promotion of the city as a highly desirable and unique destination in Croatia.
By sponsoring and participating in the International Wedding Fair with the promotion of Trogir as a wedding destination, the Tourist Board of Trogir supports the work of entrepreneurs who invest in the offer and strive to follow global trends to become competitive in the market and attract more foreign tourists who will hold their wedding in Split-Dalmatia County.
