U-21 Euro: Croatia to face Spain for semi-final spot – where to watch

The Croatia Under-21s will face Spain tomorrow evening in the quarterfinals of the European Under-21 Championship in Maribor, Slovenia.
Croatia advanced through to the quarterfinals for the first time in history back in March after Domagoj Bradarić’s last minute strike kept England from winning by a two-goal margin.
Croatia lost 2-1 to England but a 3-2 victory over Switzerland and a 1-0 loss to Portugal was enough to go through. Spain on the other hand won Group B with two wins and a draw.
Coach Igor Bišćan said on the eve of the match that the Spanish are dangerous from all positions and deservedly are tournament favourites.
He also revealed that Croatia will not be too defensive and will be aggressive to put pressure on their opponents, provoking a mistake which they can capitalise on.
Captain Nikola Moro added earlier:
“We have a few days to prepare and analyse Spain, they are one of the favourites and a top team, but we are going for the win.”
Croatia’s team tomorrow night will feature three players named in the Croatia ‘A’ team for Euro 2020, Joško Gvardiol, Luka Ivanušec and Bradarić.
The winner will face Portugal or Italy in the semi-final on June 3.
Where to watch
The match will be shown free-to-air in Croatia own HRT2. Kick-off is at 6 pm local time.
