A great night for Croatian clubs involved in UEFA Europa League qualifying on Thursday.

NK Osijek have caused a huge upset by knocking out Dutch side PSV Eindhoven. A wonderful free-kick from 18 metres out from Bočkaja in the 25th minute was enough to give Osijek a 1-0 win on the night in Osijek and a 2-0 win on aggregate.

Meanwhile Hajduk Split have beaten Danish side Brondby 2-0 in front of a packed Poljud stadium thanks to double from Ante Erceg.
After a scoreless first half, Erceg broke the deadlock in the 59th minute, before grabbing his second of the night 4 minutes later to send Hajduk through 2-0 on aggregate.
