Zagreb, 14 February 2025 – After wowing the Zagreb audience with his performance in 2024, Midge Ure is returning to Tvornica Kulture.

The legendary Ultravox frontman will take to the stage once again on Friday, 16 January 2026, to celebrate some of the biggest hits from his illustrious career.

For five decades, Midge Ure has been creating and performing music that has shaped generations, redefining and innovating global pop music.

His career began in the early days with bands such as Silk, The Rich Kids, and Thin Lizzy, but he rose to widespread fame after joining Visage and Ultravox in 1979.

In the 1980s, Ultravox became one of the leading new wave bands, releasing seven studio albums in just six years, topping the charts time and again.

Songs like Reap the Wild Wind, Dancing with Tears in My Eyes, Vienna, and All Stood Still remain timeless anthems that fans still sing along to at concerts, proving Midge to be one of the greatest songwriters and musicians of all time.

Throughout his distinguished career, Midge has won Ivor Novello, Grammy, and BASCAP awards, earned numerous gold and platinum records, and remains one of the most recognisable voices in music history.

A defining moment in his career was co-writing Do They Know It’s Christmas? with Bob Geldof for Band Aid and helping to organise Live Aid, one of the most iconic concerts in history. The project raised £8 million in just a few months to combat famine in Africa.

Following the success of Live Aid, Midge focused on his solo career. His single If I Was became a UK number one hit, propelling his debut solo album The Gift to success.

He followed up with acclaimed albums such as Answers to Nothing, Pure, and Breathe. His most recent release, Orchestrated (2017), is a collection of reimagined versions of his greatest hits.
