Valamar’s Croatian Hotels Clean Up at World Travel Awards in Athens

Four Valamar hotels in Croatia have won awards at the World Travel Awards held in Athens, Greece over the weekend…
The 4-star Valamar Lacroma in Dubrovnik picked up Croatia’s Leading Business Hotel award, Valamar Riviera luxury hotel, located in Poreč, was named Croatia’s Leading Boutique Hotel, Hotel & Casa Valamar Sanfior in Rabac was named the country’s leading hotel, and Valamar’s Club Tamaris scooped the Leading Resort award.
“This great accolade comes as a recognition of hard work and dedication of all the members of our Valamar family in providing guests with the best possible service. Furthermore, this recognition proves the on-going and increasing quality of our service, given that two of our hotels won World Travel Awards last year,” said Valamar Hotels & Resorts CEO Peter Fuchs.
Valamar are the largest hotel and resort group in Croatia, operating 22 hotels, 7 apartments and 10 camp sites in Istria, Dubrovnik and on the island of Krk. Besides Valamar’s hotels a number of Croatian hotels and resorts were nominated in all categories. The World Travel Awards celebrated its 21st year this year in Athens.
