‘VAT to be Paid on Payment of Invoice from 1 January 2015’

“Prime Minister Zoran Milanović has accepted my proposal and announced that all businesses and tradesmen with annual revenues of up to 3 million kuna (395,000 euros) will from January 1, 2015 pay VAT on the paid invoices and not on issued invoice,” Minister of Entrepreneurship Gordan Maras announced on Facebook….
Currently businesses and tradesmen were obliged to pay VAT when an invoice was issued, drawing criticism from the sector.
“This possibility will affect a little more than 150,000 Croatian entrepreneurs and tradesmen. I believe that this is the most important measure for small and medium entrepreneurs and small businesses over the past decade,” said Maras.
