VIDEO: American TV show House Hunters comes to Dubrovnik

5 January 2019 – Popular American reality TV series ‘House Hunters’, which follows individuals, couples and families in the search for a new home, has visited Dubrovnik. 

Dubrovnik has featured in the spin-off ‘House Hunters International’ which aired this week as the show follows the Dedic family from Jacksonville, Florida as they seek out a property to buy in the Dubrovnik region. 

The family, who view three different properties in the Dubrovnik region in the show before deciding on which one they want to purchase, do have some ties to the area. 

Originally from Sarajevo, Nermin Dedid moved to Jacksonville, Florida in the 1990s and had fond memories of Dubrovnik. 

“I spent a lot of time in Dubrovnik as a child and I have very fond memories, the smell of the Adriatic, the salt in the air,” Dedic said.

With a budget of $500,000, Nermin and his wife Tiffany search the Dubrovnik region for their new dream home. 

The Dedics have have three young children so one of the most important things for them is going to be space.
