VIDEO: Canadian kolo group’s virtual Croatian folk dance

The lockdown forced musicians and other artists to get creative when getting together to produce new content.
Recently we featured a group of musicians in the US and Canada who creatively covered Croatian songs like Prijatelji and Ne dirajte mi ravnicu.
Now is the turn of a Croatian folklore group from Ontario – Folklorni Ansambl Hrvatsko Kolo.
“As we are unable to see each other during this difficult time, we bring you a piece of our Croatian tradition, along with some of our own joy into your home. Some of our members got together to ‘perform’ a small dance from the region of Zagorje from their homes. Many thanks to K.U.U. Zvon for the inspiration of this video. We hope that this short clip brings you some happiness, and we can’t wait to dance with you all soon.”
