VIDEO: Cold wave brings snow to Croatian coast and islands

SPLIT, 17 January 2021 – The forecasted cold wave which is bringing freezing temperatures and snow across eastern and central parts of Europe has arrived on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast and islands.
There has been snow falling on Sunday in the Dalmatian Hinterland, on the coast, but also on the islands as temperatures plummeted to around zero.
Dalmacija Danas reports that light snow has fallen in the wider area of Zadar, Knin, Sinj, Šibenik, Trogir, and in Biograd na Moru.
Light snow has also fallen on the islands of Vis, Hvar, Šolta and Korčula. Snow on the Croatian islands is not usually but does not happen regularly.
