VIDEO: Concert in Vela Luka in memory of Oliver Dragojevic

The date of July 29, it seems, will forever be a day in which Vela Luka on the island of Korčula in Croatia, and in places around the world, will remember Oliver Dragojevic.
It has been two years since the legendary Croatian musician passed away and in Vela Luka, they have dedicated the whole week to his memory.
Yesterday, on the anniversary of his death, the day began with the laying of a wreath at his last resting place, and then continued with Mass in the church of St. Joseph and a recital.
In the evening, the promotion of the book by Zlatko Gall ‘Trag u beskraju’ was held before a big concert. Oliver’s nephew, Petar Dragojević opened the concert with the song “Kad mi dođeš ti”, and continued with “Tragom u beskraju”, a song which meant a lot of Oliver and a song he sang at his nephew’s wedding.
Oliver’s band Dupini then sung “Nadalinu”, before Dražen Bogdanović on the saxophone played “Molitvu za Magdalenu”. Nina Badrić was next with a touching performance of songs like “Dešperadun”, “Skalinada” and “Malinkonije”.
After Nina, Petar Grašo took to the stage and enchanted everyone with performances of the songs “Nocturno”, “Dobro jutro tugo”, “Dva put sam umra”, and “Nedostaješ mi ti”. The evening ended with group interpretations of the songs “U ljubav vjere nemam”, “Cesarica”, “Što to bješe ljubav” and “Moj lipi anđele”.
For the second year in a row, Vela Luka paid tribute to its ‘Captain’, and the whole world joined it, watching live streams from Hrvatski Telekom and Narodni from all over the world.
Tonight, 30 July in Vela Luka, also in front of St Josip church,16 young, talented Croatian music stars like Mia Dimšić, Vinko Ćemeraš, Albina Grčić, Marko Kutlić, Matija Cvek, Uršula Najev, Dino Jelusić, Iva Ajduković, Antonela Đinđić, Jure Brkljača, Sabrina Hebiri, Petra Oreč, Dino Perić, Alen Đuras, Josip Palameta and Petra Roško, under Ante Gela, will perform at the concert ‘Evo mene među moje.’
Because of the epidemiological situation, the concert will be able to be watched from nearby restaurants and cafes via a large screen. It will also be live-streamed on Max Tv, Max Tv to Go and the YouTube channel of Hrvatski Telekom.
