Until recently, Croatia and Zagreb were rare examples of European nations and metropolises which did not have their own Car Museum, documentary films about the history of Motorsports in the country, or a monograph on the subject of one of the most important products in recent history, which has forever changed society.
The Ferdinand Budicki Automobile Museum, which has just opened its doors in the Croatian capital, will be an important addition to the City of Zagreb because apart from its exhibits such as; vintage cars, motorcycles and bicycles, old photographs, technical workshops, lectures and discussions, film screenings and other events, it will educate and promote over 115 years of automotive culture in Croatia. So far several thousand photographs have been collected, many of which have never been seen before, as well as hours of documentary film material about the automobile industry in Croatia from 1909 – 1990.
