Croatia has qualified for the U-19 European Championships in Germany after convincingly beating Belgium 4-0 in Rijeka on Monday…
Croatia lead 2-0 at half-time in the final game of the group against a strong Belgium side thanks to goals to Filip Benković (37′) and Fran Brodić (45′). Goals to Davor Lovren (76′) and Bojan Knežević (90′)in the second half made it 4-0 to Croatia, who won the group with wins also over Bulgaria and Scotland.
The U-19 European Championships will be held from 11 to 24 July 2016 and will feature the best 8 teams in Europe.
