[VIDEO] Croatian Concept_One Quicker than LaFerrari

British racing driver and YouTuber Archie Hamilton came to Croatia and bought with him a Tesla P90D with Ludicrous Mode and the ultimate road-going Ferrari – the LaFerrari to test out against the world’s first all electric super car, the Concept_One produced by Croatia’s Rimac Automobili.

Hamilton made a number of comparisons over a quarter mile stretch, including racing the Concept_One against theTesla P90D, billed as the word’s fastest accelerating sedan. He then tested out the Concept_One against the LaFerrari.

What surprised Hamilton was that the best thing on four street-legal-tires that ever came out of Maranello was beaten by the car from a small Croatian company just outside of Zagreb without a combustion engine.

“As you can see in the video, the Concept_One is already pretty fast. But we’re working hard to make it even faster. Of course, this is not the only thing we’re doing. Not by a long shot,” said Mate Rimac, founder of Rimac Automobili.

“While the straight-line performance is quite impressive, our main focus while developing the Concept_One was on lateral performance. High-speed corners and racetracks are the real playground for the Rimac All Wheel Torque Vectoring System and the Concept_One. Hopefully we’ll have an opportunity to show how the car performs against other supercars in those conditions as well soon.”
