A project undertaken by Spanish company Applus+ IDIADA on behalf of the European Commission to show that electric vehicles can have a sporty performance has been presented in Barcelona, Spain.
The world’s most powerful prototype electric sports car, with a maximum speed of 300 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 in 3.4 seconds, was unleashed on a race-track in Catalunya near Barcelona in Spain. After getting funding for the project, the Spanish selected none other that Croatian company Rimac to produce the car. The car is based on the chassis of Rimac’s Concept One electric sports car.
