The Croatian under-19 national team drew with their Slovenian counterparts in a friendly match (2-2) on Wednesday.
Petra Mikulica scored the first goal for Croatia, but what really stood out was Paula Petković’s masterpiece with her second goal.
Hailing from Postira on the island of Brač, many consider Paula Petković one of the most talented Croatian female footballers.
Croatia were awarded a free-kick which was floated into the visiting team’s penalty area and, with her right foot, Paula executed a bicycle kick from a very difficult position, brilliantly hitting the bottom right corner and leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
Paula plays for ŽNK Hajduk Split and is a member of the Croatian under-19 women’s national football team. Playing upfront, she is known for her excellent dribbling and a phenomenal strike, 24sata writes.
Check out the goal below. The goal happens at the 19 minute 45 second mark.
