Croatian football clubs have made a successful start to their UEFA Europa League campaigns…
Hajduk Split and Zagreb’s NK Lokomotiva have both advanced to the second qualifying round of this season’s UEFA Europa League.
Hajduk were too good at home for Estonian side Sillamäe Kalev, winning 6-2 in Dugopolje last night to give them a 7-3 aggregate. Meanwhile NK Lokomotiva drew 2-2 with Welsh side FC Broughton to win the tie 5-3 on aggregate.
NK Rijeka will join Hajduk Split and NK Lokomotiva in the second round of qualifying. Hajduk will take on Slovenian side Koper, NK Lokomotiva will face Greek side PAOK FC and NK Rijeka will place Scottish side Aberdeen.
