Football Manager, the popular football simulation game, has not only entertained virtual soccer enthusiasts but has also served as a scouting ground for real-life talent.
Managers and clubs often use the game to identify potential stars, analysing their strengths and weaknesses.
In their pursuit for finding the next wonderkid, they asked a number of players who will be a future star from their home country. Among the players asked was Croatian defender Joško Gvardiol.
“Anton Matković. He is 17 years old, and I believe he will be a big player one day,” the Manchester City star said.

Anton Matković, born in 2006 in Slavonski Brod, stands tall at 191 centimeters. The young forward has already made a mark in the current season with two appearances for Osijek.
