VIDEO: Marko Bošnjak to represent Croatia at Eurovision

ZAGREB, 2 March 2025 – Marko Bošnjak will represent Croatia at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland.
Bošnjak earned the right to represent Croatia at the 69th edition of Eurovision Song Contest after he won the 2025 Dora contest held on Sunday night in Opatija with his song Poison Cake.
The 21-year-old Bosnian-Croatian singer, first made his mark at the Dora contest in 2022 with the ballad “Moli za nas,” securing second place.
Now he has gone a step further and has won the title with Poison Cake, earning him a ticket to Eurovision in the process.
Bosniak describes the song as a story about the fight for justice and the return of power to those who lost it.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place in Basel, Switzerland from 13-17 May.
Croatia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 29 times since making its debut at the 1993 contest. Croatia’s best result in the contest was last year when Baby Lasagna came 2nd with his hit Rim Tim Tagi Dim.
