He has scored some cracking goals in his career but Fulham’s Croatian international Mladen Petric will want to forget his effort against Chelsea at Craven Cottage last night in a hurry.
Petric fumbled a shot with an open goal over the bar from close range, when it seemed harder to miss than score. If Petric had scored it would have bought Fulham back to 1:2. Chelsea ran out eventual winners 3:0.
