Netflix film ‘Faraway’ set on Croatian island is out now

‘Faraway’, a romantic comedy which was filmed and is set in Croatia, has just come out on Netflix.
The film follows the story of Zeynep, a woman who is unhappy with how her life has turned out and after her mother passes away, she escapes to a Croatian island for a new start where he mother had purchased a house long ago.
She hopes to find peace and relaxation finally – but she hasn’t reckoned with Josip, who still lives on the property.
Naomi Krauss plays Zeynep in the lead role, whilst the cast also includes Goran Bogdan, Adnan Maral, Bahar Balci, Artjom Gilz, and Davor Tomic. Faraway is by German director Venessa Jopp.
The film, which was shot on location on the islands of Šolta and Brač last year, debuted on Netflix on Wednesday 8 March.
