VIDEO: New tourist promo video for island of Šolta

29 December 2018 – Located in the central Dalmatian archipelago just 9 nautical miles south of Split, the small island of Šolta has been one of the better kept secret gems off the Croatian coast. 

The island, which boasts a population of just under 2,000, is a charming authentic traditional fishing island which comes to life in the summer months. 

The Šolta Tourist Board, whose slogan for the island is ‘The Return to Innocence’, has decided to present the beauty and traditions of the island in a new tourist promo video which was released this month in collaboration with Beep Pictures.  

“With the cordial help of many who responded and helped realise this project in the very heart of the season, the feelings, the ​joy of life, the tastes, the tradition and the natural beauties of the Šolta were captured,” the Tourist Board writes.
